LABARRERE 1773 Tangente B 45° 70cl Béarn France

€6900 EUR

Here is the second bottling from the Labarrère 1773 Romain distillery which produces a 100% agricultural whisky, based on corn and rye produced on the farm, brewed, fermented, distilled, aged and packaged on the farm.

Alembic: Single or double column ironing

Tangente B: 80% corn and 15% rye from the farm , and the remaining 5% is malted barley , aged 30 months in new casks from the southwest and finished for 6 months in ex-Bourbon casks

The Tangente range is composed of 80% corn and 15% rye from the farm , with the remaining 5% being malted barley . It was distilled in a combination still with a column after a 7-day fermentation. This 100% agricole whisky showcases the richness of the grains.

Tasting notes: This whisky is approachable in terms of its organoleptic qualities, with a pronounced roundness, a pleasant presence of cereal notes, and a characteristic hint of bourbon cask oak. The sensations are smooth and creamy on the palate, with a finish that dissipates, allowing the wood to complete the tasting experience.
