Grape varieties: Sémillon (80%), Sauvignon (15%) & Muscadelle
Terroir: Upper terrace of the Dordogne valley
Vinification/Aging: Hand-harvested in several passes of fully ripe, golden, and slightly botrytized grapes, 5-day maceration, indigenous yeasts from pied de cuve, residual sugar: 25 g/liter
Tasting notes: A lovely semi-dry wine dominated by pear and white flower aromas. A welcoming palate, where the sweetness finds its balance thanks to a noble and delicate bitterness.
🍷 Serving temperature 17°C
Domaine Combrillac is an experimental ground for Florent and Uyen. Aware of climate change and the evolution of agriculture, they are embarking on innovative projects mixing all forms of life, to create an osmosis between various plants, vines, fruit trees or not, animals, coexisting in the same spaces, feeding off each other. A truly inspiring laboratory that seems to be bearing fruit in redefining the agriculture of tomorrow.
