Grape varieties: 80% Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng

Tasting notes: Nose of citrus fruits, zesty, very lively attack and a direct, tonic and saline palate! A well-crafted cuvée in the typical freshness of Jurançon hillside wines. Serve with shellfish, a seafood platter or simply grilled white fish!

Jean-Pierre Proharam created his estate in 2004. His father already had some vines whose harvest was sold to the cooperative. Located on the hillsides of Lasseube, his vineyards benefit from beautiful exposures with the stunning Pic du Midi d'Ossau in the background. Jean-Pierre is very concerned about the environment and the good care of his vines; everything is worked organically and biodynamically with increased attention to observation! Very attached to Occitan culture, the names of his cuvées refer to it: "Sonque Ta Tu" ("Only for you" for his daughter), Esberit ("Fiery" for his son).

As a side note, Jean has been the given name to the eldest son for 4 generations in homage to the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, nicknamed "Jean-Pierre" in our region!
