LE PUY Marie Cécile 2025 Vin de France 75cl White

€5330 EUR

Grape Variety: 100% Sémillon

Winemaking/Ageing: Hand-harvested grapes, carefully selected by trimming individual berries from the bunches. Natural vinification in seasoned 450-litre oak barrels, followed by 8 months of ageing with regular stirring in seasoned barrels.

Tasting Notes: A full-bodied wine with a generous, vibrant texture and beautifully subtle aromas of peach, juicy pear and jasmine. The soft, supple attack gradually gives way to a more focused palate, leading to a long, deliciously mineral finish. A wine of remarkable character, depth and complexity! A real wow factor from Bordeaux!

🍷 Serving Temperature: 8-10°C.

The Amoreau family has a winemaking history dating back to 1610 and has long been a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture. Today, the 14th generation continues the family's commitment to producing wines that are as natural and authentic as possible.

The estate is located on one of the highest points in the Bordeaux region, at an altitude of 107 metres, on the same limestone plateau as Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. The vines, averaging 50 years of age, are deeply rooted in limestone and red clay soils.

Of the estate's 100 hectares, 54 hectares are devoted to wine production, with different grape varieties planted together in the same vineyard parcels, while the remaining 46 hectares are dedicated to preserving the estate's natural ecosystem.

This carefully considered balance between wild landscapes and cultivated vineyards encourages a harmonious relationship between people, the vines and their natural environment.
