GARRIGUETTES Fleur de Lune 2025 Côtes du Rhône 75cl White
Grape varieties: Grenache Blanc, Viognier & Clairette.
Terroir: The plots are located at the foot of the slopes of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, on clay-limestone soils for the Clairette and Grenache Blanc, and clay-silt soils for the Viognier.
Vinification: Direct pressing without inert gas. 95% destemmed, 5% whole clusters. Natural vinification (no additives), carried out at low temperature, with a full maceration of 20 days.
Ageing: On fine lees, 90% in concrete tanks and 10% in demi-muids.
Tasting notes: A bright, golden straw colour. The nose is fruity, with notes of pear and pineapple. Delicate and fresh, the palate opens with white-fleshed fruits (peach, pear), followed by a rounded texture with hints of poached fruit and honey, finishing on a mineral note that preserves freshness.
🍷 Serving temperature: 10-11 °C
Located in the commune of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne in the Vaucluse, Domaine des Garriguettes farms 50 hectares biodynamically, cultivating grape varieties typical of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape area on rolled pebble (galets roulés) terroirs. Grenache Noir and Blanc, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Clairette Blanche all find an ideal setting here for optimal ripeness, resulting in wines that are supple and enveloping on the palate, with a fruit-forward Mediterranean expression, perfect for Provençal dishes and convivial aperitifs.
