Blanc de Noirs vinified in barrels
Terroir: Clay-limestone 100% grassed vineyards
Tasting notes: A mineral cuvée that highlights the clayey and humus character of the Valley's soils. The cuvée gradually reveals itself as it warms in the glass, unveiling aromas of red fruits: strawberry and redcurrant.
The strong character of the Blanc de Noirs. Only Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are concentrated in this Clair Obscur cuvée. 20% of the Pinot Meunier is vinified in oak barrels to enhance the complexity of this generous grape variety.
Belin's vineyards are located on the sunny hillsides of the communes of Essômes-sur-Marne and Aulnois. For good diversity, they cultivate the three Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. It is the blending of these three Champagne grape varieties that gives the typicality of Champagne wines. The Pinot Meunier grape variety contributes to the character and specificity of Champagne wines from the Marne Valley.
