Louise BUISSON
Together with Thomas, Louise founded "Cave du Palais" in 2010. They make a fantastic team; what could be better than a wine enthusiast and a lover of world cuisines as a couple?!
Louise takes care of the kitchen… the "Mets&Vins" food&wine pairing evenings, the light meals for the "Tour du Monde" tastings, the snacks for the "Initiation à la Dégustation" evenings, and the bites for the "Age du Feu" events.
The cuisine is family-style, fine, fresh, and homemade. Often inspired by her travels; Louise has lived in Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Malaysia, Qatar, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, and has been in living in the gastronomic capital, France since 2007!
She loves aromatic herbs, spices, and fresh produce. If she’s not at the Cave du Palais, you can certainly find her at the market chatting with the local farmers!
Cooking is not her background though. Louise, a graduate with a Master’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University, began her career at a marketing agency in London, working with prestigious clients such as The Crown Estate, CBRE, and BP Solar. Her passion for food and wine eventually led her to France. Cave du Palais allows her to blend her business acumen with Thomas's deep wine knowledge to create a unique offering for discerning customers.
