DOMAINE ENTRAS Floc de Gascogne Red 17% vol 75cl

€1610 EUR

Grape varieties: Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaking / Aging: A blend of Armagnac brandy and fresh must. Aged for 18 months in large oak vats.

Tasting Notes: Intense, luscious and complex nose of blackcurrant and sour cherry. Violet notes emerge with aeration. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, and the mouthfeel is rounded. The Armagnac is seamlessly integrated, allowing the sweetness of the taste and aromatic sensations to shine through. Blackcurrant and floral notes complement each other and build in intensity to prolong the finish.

As an aperitif, in a melon, with slightly bitter chocolate desserts, in cocktails, with cheeses… Try the very trendy Floc Tonic cocktail!!!

Michel Maestrojuan, an agricultural engineer and oenologist by training, traveled to beautiful estates in Burgundy, the Loire, and abroad, soaking up different daily routines and different ways of working… The time came to return to his roots, and he returned to the family vineyard with organic farming and natural vinification in mind, which produce elegant, refined wines with an unmistakable Gers character!

The Maestrojuan family has also traditionally always distilled a small part of their harvest for aging in Armagnac casks. Each year, a few bottles of blended and vintage Armagnacs are bottled. These are always close to their natural proof. It is a small, artisanal production of excellent quality! See the Armagnac range.
