Grape variety: Cabernet Franc

Terroir: Single 1-hectare parcel with deep clay-limestone soils. Old vines between 40 and 70 years of age.

Vinification/Ageing: Aged 80% in sandstone jars, 20% in old barrels.
No added sulphites.

Tasting note: A richer, riper expression of Cabernet Franc – solar and powerful, with plenty of personality.

🍷 Serving temperature: 16°C recommend decanting for a good hour before serving.

Just outside Chinon, Claire and Florent Bejon farm 5.2 hectares (4.6 ha of Cabernet Franc, 0.6 ha of Chenin). In the vineyard, soils are pampered; in the cellar, winemaking is as natural as possible, with no inputs or sulphites when the vintage allows.
