In 2014, Benoît Aymard took over some beautiful plots in Lacapelle-Cabanac, beautiful for their exposure and beautiful for the emotion they evoke. Indeed, most of the plots were planted by his grandfather on exceptional terroirs. The vineyard has since expanded slightly to reach 15 hectares today. The vines flourish on a varied mosaic of specific terroirs such as limestone plateaus, gravel terraces, ferruginous silicates, and marl. This diversity is a real asset for producing distinctive wines with personality. In the vineyard, Benoît practices traditional, observational, and common-sense farming. The balance of the vine is the most important thing for him; he wants it to simply feel good in order to sublimate the fruit. To achieve this, he carries out rigorous soil cultivation and meticulous green work. The work is passionate and precise, and the vineyard is managed according to organic farming principles.
