DOM&TERRE
Dominique grew up in the Jura region in his parents' vineyards, which were already farmed organically at the time (1968)! What better way to immerse oneself in this philosophy than with parents who had long been convinced by the living world! He started working with his parents, then created an estate between the Mâconnais and Beaujolais with his partner. Then they wanted to go elsewhere and moved their operation to the Corbières for about twenty years (Les Deux Anes). In love with this region, Dominique finally created Dom & Terre in Lagrasse in 2017, which he operates with his son who joined him. Obviously, it is an estate entirely farmed organically and even more so, given his long-held convictions. Starting with 6 ha already organic, they now cultivate 17 ha of vines biodynamically. Several grape varieties, on 2 main terroirs: calcareous alluvium and clay-limestone hillsides. The wines are carefully vinified according to the vintage, always with indigenous yeasts.
