GRAIN D'L
Gaelle Steunou cultivates her vines over 1.5 hectares not far from Vailhan, nestled in the garrigue, at the top of a forest track. These are 4 plots of old vines (between 30 and 100 years old) planted en gobelet, without trellising and on beautiful schist soils. The fauna and flora flourish in this preserved natural setting. The vines are cultivated traditionally (using a pickaxe in particular...) and everything is done manually (no tractor or crawler). Just some brush clearing to limit the height of the natural ground cover and a flock of sheep every year during the winter period.
