MANSENGS & CO

Building on his meticulous work, justly rewarded by the success he achieved, Jean-Baptiste Semmartin then created his "Manseng & Co" negociant business in 2022 to vinify and highlight local grape varieties, always worked by conscientious and brilliant winemakers.

A native of the Pyrenees and very friendly (that goes without saying when you come from the Pyrenean foothills!), Jean-Baptiste, aka Lajibe, started working his few hectares of vines in 2015 with a former colleague. Very meticulous, observant, and with a natural farmer's common sense, his vines are lovingly tended with the utmost care. Vinifications are very low-intervention, and he questions himself extensively throughout the aging process to be as precise as possible.
