MELARIC Clos de La Cerisaie 2020 Saumur Puy Notre-Dame 150cl Magnum White
Grape Variety: Chenin
Parcel of 50-year-old vines on tuffeau limestone soil, aged for 24 months in demi-muids.
Tasting: beautiful energy, a very salivating palate, and a rectitude that has refined itself in recent years.
🍷 Serving temperature 10-12°C
Domaine Mélaric is composed of Mélanie and Aymeric, both with solid experience in the wine world before settling in the Loire region in 2006. They set up shop in the beautiful Saumur area of Puy-Notre-Dame, gradually acquiring their 4 hectares of vines. It's a hillside with magnificent tuffeau soils, highly sought after for their minerality, and where more and more young winemakers are settling! Their organic-biodynamic approach to work, as well as the practice of gentle and patient aging, brings purity and minerality.
