REMI POUIZIN
Located around Visan, Rémi Pouizin now cultivates the family vineyard that once belonged to his great-aunt Paulette, a pioneer in understanding and researching organic agronomy! It was therefore natural that at 16, when he began his first micro-vinifications, he turned to natural wines without inputs "so as not to erase the effect of the terroir." For over 20 years, this philosophy has endured with respect for the land and the terroir. The vines are thus pampered, promoting life and biodynamics: stimulating preparations made from plants, homemade compost, and numerous cultivation experiments. In winemaking, he has always been concerned with producing wines that are as natural as possible, balanced and fine, without additives or yeasts. Ancient wheat crops, meadows, and lavandin fields over 10 hectares complement the vines, cultivated with the same mindset, thus offering a diversity of crops on the estate.
