AVEZE Auvergne Gentian Liqueur 18% vol 100cl
Avèze originates in Auvergne. It is made from gentian roots. And only with roots found between 900 and 1600m altitude. The root harvest is done on rhizomes that are approximately 45 years old. The natural lifespan of a gentian is between 50 and 60 years. The rhizomes used are 1m long and weigh between 3 and 5kg!
Gentian is not only a refreshing drink, but also good for digestion and morale!
Tasting: Its long and fine bitterness lingers in the mouth indefinitely, to the delight of gentian connoisseurs. Drink it neat or topped up with tonic, orange juice, or seltzer water.
