CHARTOGNE TAILLET Sainte Anne Mise Juillet16-Dég. Avr22 Champagne Merfy Brut 150cl Magnum White
Grape Varieties: Sainte Anne is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir from the 2014 harvest.
Bottled: July 2016
Disgorged: April 2022
Dosage: 7 g/L
Vinification: Aged in oak barrels
Tasting Notes: Often opulent on the attack, followed by a mouthwatering bitterness brought on by the salts in the sandy soils. The finish reveals a tight, focused structure that reflects the true origin of Champagne wines.
The family’s winemaking heritage dates back to 1490 with Nicolas Taillet. Alexandre Chartogne, who trained under Anselme Selosse in Avize, continues this traditional approach; working his vines by hand and cultivating the soils with the help of his horses.
