CHÂTEAU DE GAYON Gouttes de Soleil 2010 Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh 50cl Sweet White

€1410 EUR

Grape variety: Gros Manseng

Terroir: Clay and gravel soils

Vinification / Ageing: Aged in oak barrels for one year

Tasting notes: Pale golden in colour, this wine is vibrant and elegant, with notes of honey and exotic spices. The palate unfolds with flavours of ripe apricot and white peach.

Château du Gayon is located at the southernmost point of the Madiran appellation. The château dates back to the medieval era, long before the birth of King Henri IV or Christopher Columbus.
The 9-hectare vineyard has been tended by American winemaker and architect David Ebert since 2008. David fell in love with the region after discovering it by bicycle!
