In 2005, Pascal Mugneret joined the family estate after a career as an engineer. He followed his father Gérard, his grandfather René, and his great-grandfather Eugène in this beautiful profession of winemaking. And it was not without much thought because Pascal is a very thoughtful person. Here are some excerpts from his thoughts that can be found on his website. "First and foremost, I particularly appreciate the term 'vigneron' (winegrower); it constantly brings us back to the land, to the peasant common sense of observation, that of our grandparents, the one we find so hard to rediscover."
"In summary, not all wines are exceptional, capable of long aging... Just as not all of us are beautiful, rich, strong, and intelligent. But each of us steers our own ship, each wine will tell a story, a story that must be gathered young if the wine had a difficult birth, and conversely, a story that will be discovered after and over several years so that the encounter is even more beautiful."
