Florent and Thomas were welcomed to the estate with a kougelhopf during their trip to Alsace! André Kleinknecht cultivates his vineyard according to biodynamic principles. Organic certification was initiated in 1998, but he then abandoned the organic label, considering it too permissive, and has been working with the Demeter label since 2014. Thus, 9 hectares of vineyards spread over 3 communes are meticulously cultivated with respect for living things, to produce the healthiest grapes representative of the terroir. He was also greatly inspired by the work of Pierre Frick, who advised him throughout his conversion journey.
