From the Labarrère 1773 Romain distillery which produces a 100% agricultural whisky, based on corn and rye produced on the farm, brewed, fermented, distilled, aged and packaged on the farm.
Still: Column still, single or double distillation.
Résonance: Made from 80% maize, 15% rye and 5% buckwheat, all grown on the estate. Matured for 36 months in new oak casks from South-West France, followed by a 5-month finish in ex-Armagnac casks.
Tasting notes: A rich, full-bodied whisky with luscious aromas of prunes and subtle vanilla. Generous and indulgent on the palate, yet beautifully balanced with a refined finish.
