Description: An aromatic explosion, very clean, floral and very delicate expression, superb texture. Not unlike the sugarcane of the best white rums - boom!!
Vincent Laterrade, with his experience as a former sommelier and a passionate lover of his Gers region, has been dedicated to selecting fine Armagnacs for independent aging and bottling for about ten years. Thus, all year long, he travels through the region's cellars in search of gems, old batches never bottled, sometimes never discovered, sleeping for decades in cellars from another era. His selection of Armagnacs is incredibly accurate and complex, with precise tasting. Each year, superb batches emerge, like those of the greatest Scottish bottlers. The batches are never reduced, and you won't pay for the packaging, which is very understated but features elegant bottles!!
Recently, he has also been aging a white cuvée, Etoile Filante, in barrels, with the same care as his Armagnacs. For this, he has settled in a superb, typically Gersois barn made of rammed earth and wattle and daub, which he is renovating with a love for the old.
