Les Bariolés is the négociant label of Edoardo Veltroni and Claire Freist, founders of Les Terres Bariolées.
In response to increasingly challenging vintages, Claire and Edoardo decided to develop their own négociant project.

Their guiding principle? Carefully sourced organic or biodynamic grapes, always combined with a share of estate-grown Chardonnay Muscaté, to craft joyful, unadorned wines, made without artifice and designed for pure, unapologetic pleasure.

Founded in 2022 by Edoardo Veltroni and Claire Freist, the estate farms 5 hectares of vineyards located around the village of Chalus, at around 600 metres altitude, south of Issoire near Boudes.

The vineyard is planted with Chardonnay, Chardonnay Muscaté, Gamay and Pinot Noir, with Syrah and Aligoté currently planted or planned.

The vines are cultivated organically, with inspiration drawn from biodynamic practices. In the cellar, vinifications are carried out without additives, and the wines are most often bottled without added sulphur.
