MARC ROY Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2018 75cl Red
Grape Variety : Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Nose of black fruits, a beautiful texture, a finish that is still a bit tight and deserves to be kept in the cellar for 2-3 years.
🍷 Serving temperature 18°, great aging potential
Alexandrine Roy works on the estate created by her father in Gevrey-Chambertin. 4 small but beautiful hectares spread over 10 plots, with lovely terroirs allowing her to produce 4 cuvées: 3 reds and 1 white (the latter from Marsannay). She constantly strives for excellence and purity in her work. The same patience reigns in her cellar, and it is better to wait a little before tasting her wines so that they can mellow during their aging. Composed of 50% new oak barrels, Alexandrine makes it a point of honor to perfect her long aging processes.
