Winemakers for several generations in the village of Lagamas, at the foot of the Larzac, the Visseq family decided in 2009 to start vinifying part of their harvest. From small parcels of schist, marl, and limestone, the grapes are cultivated with great respect for nature. The wines quickly gained a fine reputation, and in 2011 a winery was built to make full use of the estate’s 11 hectares.
