MICHEL COUVREUR Fleeting R 12 Year Old Pinot Noir Maturation 2024 Ed. 49% 50cl Whisky

€9980 EUR

Distilled on August 29, 2012. Aged 5 years in Oloroso casks, then over 6 years in old fortified Pinot Noir casks from Savigny-lès-Beaune at Domaine Chandon de Briailles. Very dark ruby color, unctuous, rich, concentrated, with flavors between smoky and concentrated Pinot Noir - 1600 500ml bottles produced.

The whiskies from Michel Couvreur are synonymous with aging, maturation, sherry casks… Michel Couvreur had a very personal vision of whisky and dedicated his work and research to the evolution of whisky since 1978. It is in galleries dug into the heart of the Burgundy rock, with impressive humidity levels, in silence and calm 10 meters deep, that the whiskies evolve, mature, and grow. All of this is combined with an enviable selection of casks from the finest bodegas and estates, allowing the whiskies to achieve a unique style and nobility after several years of maturation. Even though Michel passed away in 2013, his legacy and work continue in the capable hands of his cellar master Jean Arnaud Frantzen and his son-in-law Cyril Deschamps, supported by Michel's wife, Marthe, and his daughter Alexandra.
