MONTGILET Grolleau des Cousins 2025 VdF (Anjou) 75cl Red
Grape variety: 100% Grolleau
Tasting notes: The ultimate "glouglou" (easy-drinking) wine! A nose of fresh red fruit and flowers; the palate is tangy, juicy, spicy, and vibrant!
🍷 Serving temperature: 16°C
Located near Angers, Domaine de Montgilet is, above all, a family story: from ages 3 to 75, everyone has a place and a role to play! The diversity and richness of their terroirs allow them to produce a mosaic of wines: for every terroir, a wine style; for every wine style, a terroir...!
The terroirs at Domaine de Montgilet are composed of three different types of schist: clay over blue schist (from the Angers-Trélazé slate belt); clay-loam over grey schist and weathered schist; and clay-loam over sandstone-rich schist and purple schist.
