SALAMANDRE Kirsch Eau de Vie 45° 50cl
This "pure fruit" cherry brandy (or kirsch) comes from a natural fermentation of black cherries, distilled in traditional copper stills at the Distillerie de la Salamandre in Sarlat. It is aged for a minimum of 2 years in tanks. It subtly blends the aromas of the fruit with discreet almond notes, characteristic of stone fruits.

The story of the La Salamandre distillery in Sarlat, Périgord, is above all the story of its founder, that of a passionate man and a pioneering entrepreneur.
Raymond Gatinel knows distillation well. In the past, the first chills of winter heralded the arrival of the itinerant copper still, on its cart, pulled by a horse. In all the villages, it was the activity that brought men together and warmed them.
