SALAMANDRE Walnut Wine, Le Gatinoix 16% vol 75cl Aperitif
Gatinoix is a traditional walnut wine from Périgord. It is made according to the Distillerie de la Salamandre's family recipe in Sarlat, using AOC Périgord green walnuts, walnut eau de vie, and a blend of sweet wine and red wine. It is a natural, artisanal aperitif, made in the pure Périgord tradition. Enjoy it chilled, as an aperitif, in a half melon, or to flavor your cakes and sauces.

The history of the La Salamandre distillery in Sarlat, Périgord, is above all the story of its founder, that of a passionate man and a visionary entrepreneur.
Raymond Gatinel knows distillation well. In the past, the first chills of winter announced the arrival of the itinerant copper still, on its cart, pulled by a horse. In every village, it was the activity that brought people together and warmed them.
